Our Luxe Sapphire project takes its name from the rich jewel tones woven throughout this Steveston home, where deep indigo blues, warm golds and moments of sparkle bring a sense of drama to a timeless architectural foundation.
This was our second home with this young family of three. While their love of transitional design remained consistent, this time we amplified their appreciation for luxurious details. Extensive custom millwork was layered throughout the home to establish a traditional foundation, then polished with reflective surfaces, warm metallics and saturated sapphire tones.
This is where our signature approach to transitional design comes to life: bridging enduring forms of traditional beauty with the innovation and ease of modern living. At Luxe Sapphire, the intersection of these two worlds is deliberately dramatic. Classic architectural detailing creates structure and permanence, while deep blues, luminous golds and unexpected moments of glamour introduce a seductive energy.
That jewel of this project reveals itself in the primary ensuite boasting his and her vanities, his and her shower niches and a luxurious custom steam shower.
Steam showers have been gaining popularity over the years in the primary bathroom, especially if one doesn't have the space or free time to maintain a hot tub and or sauna. Originally discovered in ancient Rome, steam holds remarkable healing qualities proven to improving one's health and mental conditions. Benefits include improved circulation, clearing skin ailments, relieving joint pain, detoxification, boosting cardiovascular and metabolic systems, alleviating colds and managing stress.
Here, it becomes part of a larger design philosophy: that luxury is not simply something beautiful to look at, but something that supports the way we live.
